Activities
Every week, the school offers a comprehensive recreational
program. You can learn more about Quito and Ecuador
during dance classes, city tours, cooking classes, and
fiestas. The school also organizes interesting excursions
around the city, for example to Otavalo, Papallacta,
or Mitad del Mundo.
The following activities are offered regularly (selection):
- City tour. From the first day of your instruction,
you can take a tour after class so that you can get
to know the city and find your way around from the
very beginning. We will show you the most important
things you need to know for daily life in Quito, such
as withdrawing money, riding the bus, using Internet
cafés, and shopping.
- Dance classes. Discover Latin American rhythms such
as Salsa and Merengue and immerse yourself in the
South American temperament.
- Discussion rounds, presentations, and documentation.
Inform yourself about historical and current Latin
American topics.
- Shared cooking of typical national dishes. Cook
and enjoy the culinary specialties of the country
together with other students and instructors.
- Theater plays. Slip into new roles together with
other students and instructors.
- Fiesta with students, instructors, families, and
friends. Enjoy a typical Ecuadorian party with our
school that includes native dishes, cocktails, and
dancing.
